The Truckers Helper is pleased to announce the addition of Truckers Helper Remote Support to our available support options. This new service allows our support personnel to connect to your computer using a secure VNC connection and provide you with direct assistance, eliminating the communication issues that can often prove frustrating for our users. With Truckers Helper Remote Support, the support representative can see what is happening on your computer and actually control your mouse and keyboard to walk you through a difficult procedure and provide you with instant assistance to solve your problem.

If you have a connection to the internet, Truckers Helper Remote Support is just a click away. Simply call our Support line, 321-956-7331 and then click the Remote Support icon under Web Tools. If the client is not yet installed the program will install it for you and then open the client. If the client is installed the program will open it.

NOTE: if the program is not installed on your c: drive you will need to do the installation manually and tell the installation where to install. For instructions see Installation Help.



OPENING SCREEN

The initial screen explains what Truckers Helper Remote Support is and explains the encryption and security that the Remote Support client provides.

After you read this screen click the Done button and the program will display the Connection Screen.

CONNECTION SCREEN

This screen is where you will actually establish the connection with the Truckers Helper Support Desk.

Your support representative will tell you which connection to select.

After selecting the appropriate connection click the Open Connection button to establish the connection.

YOU MUST ESTABLISH THE CONNECTION. The remote support client requires that YOU institute the connection- no one else can connect to your computer from outside.

The password screen will then be displayed.




PASSWORD SCREEN
In order for anyone to connect with your computer during this session they must have the session password. This provides additional security for your connection. The password changes with every session providing you with maximum security.

Read the password to your support representative and they will then be able to establish a connection with your computer.

So far The Truckers Helper Remote Support client has proven extremely useful in reducing the time required to provide our customers with the answers they need.

Note: Remote Support requires connection to the internet and a phone connection with support. It is not available if you only have one phone line and must use that line to connect to the internet.
