Error Missing Data

Input Error:

The following error is a caused by trying to exit a field that requires an entry without making that entry.

  1. The Input Error dialog box is displayed if you do not enter a To Location on the mileage screen.

  1. Press the Esc (Escape) key, located on your keyboard, twice to exit the To Location field without making an entry.

The following error is caused when you attempt to exit a date box without entering a valid date.

  1. The Input Error dialog box is displayed if you do not enter a valid date.

  1. Click OK to return to the field and enter the date. Click Cancel to exit the date field.

Note: When you click Cancel you override the Audit for this error message without cancelling the entry. If you want to abort the entry Click the Cancel Button on the menu bar at the bottom of the page to cancel the entry.

Audit Error:

The following error is caused when you attempt to update a record that is not complete, or exit the window without completing the required fields.

  1. The Audit Error dialog box is displayed if you do not enter data in all required fields.

  1. Click OK to cancel the update and return to the window to finish inputting the required data or click the CANCEL button on the tool bar at the bottom of the page to cancel the entry.

The following error is caused when you attempt to exit the window before completing a transaction.

  1. The Audit Error dialog box is displayed if you do not complete the transaction before existing the window.

  1. Click OK to return to the window to Cancel or complete the current transaction.

The following error is caused when you attempt to ignore the message error dialog box.

  1. The Audit Error dialog box is displayed if you ignore the message error dialog box.

  1. Click Yes to cancel the edit. Your changes are reset to the original entries. Click No to return to the window.
