Troubleshooting the Tutors

ERROR MESSAGE WHEN YOU CLICK THE

If you get an error telling you the TechSmith Codec is not correctly registered -

Put the install CD back in your computer. Wait for the install menu to appear and click EXIT.

DOUBLE CLICK My Computer, usually an icon on your desktop. Look for your CD drive in the list and RIGHT CLICK (click with your right mouse button) on top of it. A popup box will appear, click EXPLORE.

In the next window DOUBLE CLICK on top of the MISC file folder. Inside that folder you will see a file named "tscc.exe", or just ":tscc" depending on your compute settings. DOUBLE CLICK this file to run it.

That will install the codec and your tutors should then work.

ADVANCE FEATURES TUTOR

The Advance Features Tutor ships with the One Truck and above versions of the program. If you have Advanced Features Tutor CD put it in your CD drive and click the Tutor button again.

Advanced features are: Billing, Loads, Dispatch, Trailer Tracker, Pallet Tracker, Payroll, Payroll Setup, Inventory, Trailer Maintenance. All other Tutors are on the Install CD.

THE INSTALL CD:

Put the Install CD back in the computer. Wait for the Install Menu to appear and click EXIT or VIEW TUTORS. Click the again and the tutor should play.

NO SOUND - the Tutors are audio/video presentations and should have sound with them. The Tutor requires a working sound card on your system to function. If you do not have sound, you should have your computer checked as the sound board is probably not working or is turned off.
