Sub ProNumbers

Sub ProNumbers are used to assign more than one billing transaction to a truck load.

In Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) the pickup is for more than one shipper, and delivery is for one or more receivers. A Sub ProNumber allows you to view all the pickups and deliveries assigned to the originating ProNumber in Dispatch. Sub Pro Numbers also associate miles and expenses to the originating ProNumber as you complete load and billing data for each customer.

Sub ProNumber Guidelines:

Failure to follow these guidelines will not associate the expense or miles properly, or list the loads correctly in dispatch.

Note: You cannot use the letter d as a Sub ProNumber designator. This letter is reserved for use in split loads. Use one ProNumber for all miles entered for the trip.

Expenses and Sub ProNumbers

Expenses can be assigned to any segment of the load - 1234a, 1234b or 1234c. In the Summary Report The Truckers Helper combines these together for the load. It is suggested that you show them against the actual Sub ProNumber when it applies.
