The Advanced Search dialog box is designed to search your accounting records based on multiple criteria.
To Perform Advanced Search:
Display the Income & Expenses window as outlined in About Income and Expenses.
Click
the Functions
button
on the Income & Expenses toolbar. From the Functions pulldown menu
choose Advanced
Search. The Advanced Search
dialog box is displayed.

From the Find frame select the radio button of the item you wish to find.
From the Is frame select the radio button to identify the Find item as equal to (=), greater than (>), less than (<), not equal to (<>), or LIKE (the Like option is used to find a word or phrase in the memo field only).
Enter the Search Phrase (number, date or text).
Select any additional criteria from the Type Is, Paid By Is, Pmnt Acct Is, and Chg To Acct Is, from the pulldown lists. (The pulldown lists contain all the possible choices for each field.)
Click the Find button located on the Advanced Search dialog box to find the results that match your search criteria.
The results are displayed in the Income & Expenses window. You can toggle through the results using the data toggle.

Click
the Refresh
button
located on the bottom toolbar to return to all records.
