Open An Asset Account

To Open An Asset Account:

  1. Display the Income & Expenses window as outlined in About Income and Expenses.

  2. From the Quick Entry selection box located on the right of the Income & Expenses window choose Open Acct. From the Open Acct menu choose Asset. The Open New Account dialog box is displayed.

  1. Enter the Name of Asset Account.

  2. The Type of Account is provided for you by The Truckers Helper program.

  3. Enter the Date Asset Acquired, but not earlier than 01/01 of the current year (mm/dd/yy), or click the icon to choose a date from the calendar.

  4. Enter the Value of Asset for the date entered above.

  5. Click the Save button located in the Open New Account dialog box.
