Record Company Fuel Cards and Settlements

If you use a company fuel card to purchase fuel you MUST complete the fuel purchase in Income & Expenses.

To Record Company Fuel Cards And Settlements:

  1. From the Type pulldown list choose Expense.

  2. From the Paid By pulldown list choose Charge.

  3. From the Payment Acct pulldown list choose the card account previously created.

  4. From the Charge To Acct pulldown list choose Fuel - Truck.

  5. From the Settlements window enter the fuel in the deductions field.

  6. From the Account pulldown list choose Charge Card. Do not choose Fuel.

Note: The Truckers Helper displays the deduction as a payment on the charge card account created.
