Transaction Help

Use the Transaction Help anytime you are not sure how to make an entry. Follow the guidelines in Transaction Help to avoid data entry errors in your accounting.

  1. Display the Income & Expenses window as outlined in About Income and Expenses.

  2. Click the Trans Help button located on the bottom toolbar. The Transaction Help list is displayed.

  3. Choose the method of transaction. The Transaction Help dialog box is displayed. The correct entry is illustrated in each of the matching fields for Income & Expenses.

Note: Transactions specific to Payroll (Driver Advances, Driver Reimbursements, Charge Backs to O/O or Driver) are at the bottom of the list.

Note: It is important that you view the Manual Entry Tutor from the Income & Expenses window to thoroughly understand how the Transaction Help feature works.
