Fleet Tracks information is collected by a Windows Service that runs in the background. This service connects to Truckers Helper servers every 10 minutes to check for updates. This service is normally started automatically when you start The Truckers Helper. If for any reason this service is not running you database will not be getting the regular updates and you'll need to start the service to start manually. Once the service is restarted it will automatically collect any updates that have not already been received.
To Restart Fleet Tracks Service:
Open the Routing screen as detailed in About Routing.
Click FLEET TRACKS/RESTART SERVICE on the menu bar.
The program will restart the service. If the service is already running you will be informed of this.
You can tell whether the service is running or not on the Dispatch Screen. If the LOCATION & DATE/TIME fields are GREEN the service is running, if they are RED the service is not running and should be restarted.
