To Create Dispatch Record:
Display the Dispatch window as outlined in About Dispatch. The Change Trucks dialog box is displayed.
Choose a Truck Number from the pulldown list.
Click Ok.
The Dispatch window is displayed indicating the last load the truck was assigned to, but not delivered. The following information is transferred from Pickups/Delivery:
Approximate Mileage (Routing Required for this)
Estimated travel time for the trip (Routing Required for this)
Truck Number
Trailer Number
ProNumber
Driver's Name, if assigned a truck in Payroll.
Scheduled Pickups and Delivery dates, Cities and associated ProNumber(s), the next pickup and delivery are highlighted in red.
The Next Load, if the truck is prebooked.
Note: If the truck is not assigned any loads, The Truckers Helper displays "No pickups were found for this truck." You MUST add at least one Pickup before you can access the Dispatch window.
Enter the Actual Pickup Date and Time.
Enter the Actual Delivery Date and Time.
If you are using the Pallet Tracker enter the Pallets information.
In - the number of pallets loaded on to the truck.
Out - the number of pallets unloaded off the truck and delivered to the customer.
Bad - the number of pallets the customer would not accept or give you credit for.
Should the driver call with an update click the Date field. The current date and time is displayed for the Check Call.
Enter the Location of the truck when the Check Call was initiated.
Enter any Comments associated with the Check Call.
Select the Late check box, if applicable (i.e., if the load was not delivered on time).
Select the Customer Notified check box, if applicable (i.e., if the load was late and the customer was notified).
Click the
Save
button located on the bottom toolbar.
