Create Delivery

The Deliver section tracks customer deliveries. If you are using Billing you MUST complete the required data (yellow text field boxes). The window is split and works in conjunction with Pickups.

To Create Delivery Record:

  1. SEE CREATE PICKUP to start a Load Record. After entering the Pickup information you will automatically be taken to the Delivery Information.

  2. The Truckers Helper displays the Delivery Order number as 1.

Note: If you have more than one delivery highlight the number with your mouse and manually enter the delivery number.

  1. Enter the customer identification in the CustId field. If the customer identification is unknown, press the F4 key located on your keyboard to display the Customer List window. From the Customer List window double click the Company Name to select it, or single click the Company Name to highlight it, then press the Enter key located on your keyboard.

    If the customer is not displayed on the list, double click Add - New - Customer under the Company Name heading to create customer record. The Truckers Helper Address Book window is displayed. Click the Add button to add a new customer. Enter the customer name, address, city, state, and zip. Enter the Customer ID. Click the Save button located on the bottom toolbar to save the entry. Click the Close button located on the bottom toolbar to close the Address Book window. The new Customer ID is displayed in the CustId field.

  2. Press the Enter key located on your keyboard to display the Customer Name and address in Deliveries.

  3. Enter the scheduled Delivery Date.

  4. Enter the scheduled Delivery Time (optional).

  5. Enter the customer delivery number in the Delivery No. field, if applicable.

  6. Enter any notes you want to keep with this Delivery. Delivery Notes will be printed with the Dispatch Load Report. (you have 100 spaces for notes).

  7. Click the Save button located on the bottom toolbar.

  8. To enter additional pickups and deliveries, click the Add button located on the bottom toolbar.
