To complete your first log:
From the Main screen, click on the Driver/Logs menu, click Log Master or in the Drivers/One Truck version click the Log Master icon in the flow chart. A dialog box appears and notifies you that the first driver in the drivers list has not been setup.
Click OK. A dialog box appears and asks if you want to setup the drivers rules set.
Click Yes. The Log Master screen appears with the Driver Setup dialog box.
Type the Name of Co-Driver, if applicable.
In Truck Number, type the truck assignment.
Type the Starting date for the log.
For the previous 7 days, type the number of hours the driver was on duty for each day.
Click OK. The Status Settings dialog box appears.
Define Options for the driver.
To set your starting status, click the Midnight line on whatever your status was at midnight. A green dot appears. This is only necessary for the first log.
Move to the first status change you had for the day, click the time status line FOR THE START OF THE NEW SHIFT! You will always show the START of the next shift NOT THE END of the last shift. If you've turned on Log Shift Locations in the Option Settings, the Shift Change Location dialog box appears.
Note: To select the time, you must move the time line slightly to the right of the line on the graph. The box below the log graph displays the time and status.
Type the City, State of the shift change and click OK.
Continue entering the status changes for the day.
To end the day, click the midnight section for the duty status you were on at midnight. If you change status at midnight end the day on the old status, then click the new status on the starting midnight line for the next day. A pop-up box appears. Type the miles you drove for the day and click OK.
To
start the next day, click Next Day.
