The Pre-Trip Inspection is an examination of a vehicle before it leaves for a trip. The examination is recorded on the Pre-Trip Inspection form.
To Complete The Pre-Trip Inspection Form:
Display the Log Master window as outlined in About Log Master.
From the Log Master Main menu bar choose Options. From the Options pulldown menu choose Input Mode. From the Input Mode pulldown menu choose Driver Mode (if not already selected).
From the Log Master Main menu bar choose Status. The Status dialog box is displayed.

Select the Details check box.
From the Log Master Main menu bar choose Pre-Trip. The Pre-Trip Inspection form window is displayed.
Enter the Time and press the Enter key located on your keyboard.
Enter A.M. or P.M. and press the Enter key located on your keyboard.
Enter the Tractor No. of the tractor and press the Enter key located on your keyboard.
Enter the Speedometer Reading and press the Enter key located on your keyboard.
Select the appropriate check box for any defective items and enter the details in Remarks.
Enter the Trailer No. of the trailer and press the Enter key located on your keyboard.
Select the appropriate check box for any defective items and enter the details in Remarks.
Select the Condition of above vehicle is satisfactory check box, if applicable.
Click the Save & Quit button.
