Add A Truck

Before you can record truck data in Truck Maintenance you MUST first add a Truck Maintenance Record.

To Add A Truck:

1. Display the Truck Maintenance Records window as outlined in About Truck Maintenance.

2. Click the Add Truck button located on the Truck Maintenance Records toolbar. The Add Truck dialog box is displayed.

3. Enter the Truck Number and click OK.

Note: Truck Numbers can be any 10 digit number or letter combination. Duplicate numbers are not allowed, so each truck MUST have its own unique number.

4. Enter the Oil Change interval miles and click OK.

5. Enter the Lube interval miles and click OK.

6. Enter the Full Inspect interval miles and click OK.

   Note: A full in-house inspection of the truck is performed at this mileage interval.

7. The Add Truck verify dialog box is displayed.

8. Click Yes to add the truck. Click No to cancel the operation and repeat steps 2 through 8.

9. If this is the only truck you are adding turn on one truck setting.
   
   Note: if you don't want maintenance reminders for this truck do not enter any actual miles for the lube, oil change, & full inspection. You MUST enter intervals, you do not need to enter any maintenance records for the truck.
