Setup Escrow Interest

The Truckers Helper provides the capability to calculate and post interest on your drivers escrow accounts. To setup escrow accounts you need to provide the interest rate to the Tax Tables.

To Setup Escrow Interest:

1. Click the Tax Tables button located on the Payroll Setup toolbar. The Tax Tables window is displayed.

2. Click the Add button to add a new table.

3. Enter Escrow for Tax Type.

4. Enter Yearly for Period.

5. Enter the number percentage in the Amount field (i.e., without the percent (%) sign). For Example, enter 10% as 10, 3.5% as 3.5.

6. Enter S for Status.

7. Enter 0 (zero) in all remaining fields.

8. Click the Save button.

Note: The escrow interest setup only needs to be done one time. The Truckers Helper program uses the same percent for all drivers. You do not need to do setup the escrow interest for each driver. The Tax Table is a universal table that applies to all drivers.
