The Truckers Helper provides the capability to create a backup of your data to a floppy disk or other media. This should be done on a regular basis to protect your data.
If your backup is requiring more than one disk COMPACT your database. Also to restore you must put the LAST disk in first when restoring from a multi-disk set!!
To Backup Data:
From the Truckers Helper choose Utilities. From the Utilities pulldown menu choose Backup. The Database Maintenance window is displayed.
Click the Backup button. The Backup dialog box is displayed.
Enter 1 to backup to your floppy disk. Enter 2 to backup to another location.
Click OK.
If you entered 1 a second Backup dialog box is displayed instructing to insert a disk.
Click Yes to continue.
If you entered 2 a second Backup dialog box is displayed instructing to enter a path name.
Enter the path of the location and click OK. The Backup Verify dialog box is displayed.
Click OK. The Backup Complete dialog is displayed.
Click OK.
