If your computer can connect to the Internet you can use the online update to obtain the latest update of the application. You do not need to be connected to the Internet when you access the Online Update but you do need to be connected to a phone line with access to the Internet.
Online Update will dial up your Internet server, locate the Truckers Helper web site and check for the latest update. If you need the update the application will download it.
To Use Online Update:
From The Truckers Helper Main menu bar choose Web Tools. From the Web Tools pulldown menu choose Online Update.
The Online Update dialog box is displayed and gathers Update Information from the server.
Note: If you are connected to the Internet the update will begin automatically. If you are not connected to the Internet a Dial Up dialog box is displayed. Click the Connect button.
After the Update Information is gathered from the server a dialog box is displayed.
Click OK.
The new version number is displayed on the status bar.
