Note: Routing is an optional feature you MUST purchase separately.
Routing is available in 2 forms:
1.
TRUCK MILES - powered by the ProMiles routing engine this version offers
limited functionality and is available with the ONE TRUCK only.
2.
ProMiles routing - this is the full version of ProMiles and offers full
functionality. This version is available in the Full & Fleet versions
of the program.
Routing incorporates the ProMiles® database, which is FHWA for Routing and Mileages. The Routing features created with The Truckers Helper is acceptable for DOT and IFTA audits, and replaces Mileage for entering actual miles. The Mileage module can be used to view trips, but the trips are entered in Routing.
The most accurate way to use Routing is to have drivers turn in starting and ending hubs for each trip, and routes travelled. Enter the truck routing the same way the driver ran the load.
Note: Please check with your state for specific rules and regulations, as they vary from state to state. Most states prefer actual hub readings, but also accept routing mileages created with an approved truck routing system, provided mileages agree with actual hub readings. You can use the apportion feature to report any lost miles.
To Display Routing:
From The Truckers Helper Main menu bar choose Loads.
From the Loads pulldown menu choose Routing.
Note: You MUST enable Routing to have access to the Routing window.
Note:
It is important that you view the Tutor
