Export Route

The Truckers Helper provides the capability to export a route from Routing to Mileage.

To Export Route:

  1. Display the Routing window as outlined in About Routing.

  2. Click the Add button to add a new route.

  3. Enter the ProNumber and press the Enter key located on your keyboard.

    Note: If the load exists in Billing and Pickups and Delivery The Truckers Helper program populates the Truck Number, Trailer Number and Date of the load. The program also checks for the last location of the truck.

    Note: You MUST maintain a continuous record of From and To locations. Do not change the starting location. If the truck is no longer at the last location create a trip to move it or move it manually in Mileage.

  4. Enter the Truck Number or select a truck. Press the Enter key located on your keyboard.

  5. Enter the Trailer Number or select a trailer. Press the Enter key located on your keyboard.

  6. Enter the trip Date or select a date. Press the Enter key located on your keyboard.

  7. Enter the Location and press the Enter key located on your keyboard.

  8. Enter the Status for the trip.

  9. Click the Add button to add the location to the current trip. The location is displayed.

  10. Repeat Steps 7 through 9 for other locations. (You can have up to 10 locations per trip.)

  11. From the Routing Main menu bar choose F5 - Run Route menu to verify the route is correct. The Reporter window displays the driving instructions for the route.

  12. Close the Reporter window.

  13. From the Routing Main menu bar choose F6 - Export Route to export the route to Mileage.

Note: Once the route is exported you cannot change a route without deleting all miles exported to Mileage.

  1. Click OK.

Note: It is important that you view the Tutor from the Routing window to thoroughly understand how this feature works.
